These casually drawn, perfectly on-point comics by the hugely popular young artist Sarah Andersen are for the rest of us. They document the wasting of entire beautiful weekends on the internet, the unbearable agony of holding hands on the street with a gorgeous guy, and dreaming all day of getting home and back into pajamas. In other words, the horrors and awkwardnesses of young modern life. Oh and they are totally not autobiographical. At all.

Adulthood Is a Myth presents many fan favorites plus dozens of all-new comics exclusive to this book. Sarah's frankness on personal issues like body image, self-consciousness, introversion, relationships, and the frequency of bra-washing makes her comics highly relatable and deeply hilarious, showcasing how she became one of the most influential voices in web cartoonists.

"Adulthood is a myth" is a fantastic collection of wonderful comics. The humor is light and fluffy and full or funny thoughts and ideas that go through everyone's heads throughout their daily lives. The artworks are also very humble and gentle and cute, allowing for a continuous connection with such sweet characters.

Hilarious, cute, and very astute. Love Sarah's work so much, I even bought Invader Zim #11. Will be looking to get 'Big Mushy Lump' next. The only thing you'll regret about buying this, is that inevitably the last page must come.

Dear Miss Sarah Andersen, I hope that makes you feel important because you are. Your comics are really funny and made me laugh. You don't know how happy I was when I found out you were making a book. I'm 13 years old and honestly, I'm an introvert too. I want to be with people but at the same time I don't. Anyway, great job on your book! It kept me laughing! - Lidya (From Florida)
