Seal Team Six is spending their break at All Creatures Safari in Africa. Having been there previously, catching poachers on their last visit, they decide it's the perfect place to relax with the added benefit of seeing Talia again. Talia is the owner of All Creatures and the most beautiful woman Harm's ever met. While there, mysterious things happen at the Inn. Harm is plagued with nightmares, a spitting cobra is killed at the end of his teammates' bed, chickens are slaughtered, and Talia's workers stop coming to work-fearful for their lives. The witch doctor in town claims that Talia's Inn is cursed and has all the townspeople fearful. He repeatedly warns Talia that more bad things are to come, unless she leaves Africa. Harm and his team vow to help Talia-especially when she ends up missing... Talia suffered the loss of her husband, Michael, one year ago and is not looking for a relationship. Harm, having been burned in the past is also not looking for a relationship-especially when he and his team are leaving in four days. But the chemistry between Harm and Talia is undeniable. They embark on a four day affair, that becomes so much more. Will Harm and his team be able to rescue Talia before it's too late? The underlying theme of animal conservation and women's rights are prevalent in this story. It's sad to see animals being killed for notoriety and their tusks. It brings to light what a big money making business killing endangered animals is. This story also touches on how women are valued in Africa--they're NOT! If you believe in insta-love mixed with suspense, then this novel is for you. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

This is the fourth book in the Mission: Six series. Unlike most books featuring SEAL heroes, it is set in sub Saharan Africa which allows the introduction of different issues such as poaching of the big game animals. The SEALs are on leave at a safari resort with a beautiful owner. As always, the SEALs deal effectively with the trouble facing the resort, but matters get heated on both romantic and dangerous fronts. This book could be read as a stand-alone, but reading the previous books adds to the enjoyment, especially with being able to catchup with the status of previous couples. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, setting and the atypical issues they dealt with. Both the hero and heroine initially fight their attraction, but all works out in the end. I’m looking forward to the next book. I received an advance copy for review.
