L'Étranger (em português O estrangeiro) é o mais famoso romance do escritor Albert Camus. A obra foi lançada em 1942, tendo sido traduzida em mais de sessenta e oito línguas e recebido uma adaptação cinematográfica realizada por Luchino Visconti em 1967.
Faz parte do "ciclo do absurdo" de Camus, trilogia composta de um romance (L'Étranger), um ensaio (Le mythe de Sisyphe - O mito de Sísifo) e de uma peça de teatro (Calígula) que descrevem o aspecto fundamental de sua filosofia : o absurdo.
