A good story. Keeps you wanting to see what happens next.

A soap opera that hoped to have some weight due to the American politics. Too bad - it could have been a great, as the idea is good, but poorly executed. The research into the geography of Boston was terrific, though.

While this story was a tad bit unrealistic, it was also a great follow up to Kane & Abel.

Nice follow up to Kane and Abel. A family epic that engages all the senses. Hard to put down.

Jeffrey Archer is an excellent writer and novelist. I have read 12 of his books and they were all very good. However, this one, The Prodigal Daughter is the best I have read - excellent in every way!

Just finished reading "The Prodigal Daughter." What a terrific novel and portrayal of a woman of strength & determination. The lead character, Floraytina, is admirable as well as a person one can identify with. Beginning with her birth, you root for her, & find yourself right behind her, wishing her to succeed through the successes and trials of her life. With this book, I could hardly put it down.

More years ago than I care to admit, one of my high school teachers asked me to choose this book for an upcoming report. She knew I was also working a full time job while going to school and said that it was so good I would finish it over a weekend. She was right. Over the many years since, Jeffrey Archer continues to be my favorite author, and now he is also a favorite author of my daughter. Though this is a great first Archer book to read, it is part 2 of a 3 part series. I recommend getting Kane & Abel along with Shall We Tell The President along with this - you won't regret it!

Could not wait to read this novel then I could not close it fast enough. Really we should all get our money back the typos are insane and just when you've had a few pages break they are back.

A typically good Archer tale made nearly impossible to enjoy because of the countless typos and miss spellings. Better to buy a copy from a used bookstore than to download this mangled version.
