It was a fun combination of Jane Austen and zombies. I love anything with zombies and I have been meaning to read this book since it was first published. I never did and ended up watching the movie first. I was hoping the book was better, as it usually is, and I wasn’t disappointed. Am reading the series and thoroughly enjoying myself.

This book has taken me so long to read... because it's just not enjoyable for me. There's a huge disconnect between the actual story and the zombie story. I feel that it could have been a lot better if the zombie portions of the story were transitioned better and there was better editing. It's a book you definitely have to read yourself and not depend on the ratings because the reviews are all over the place.

i watched the movie before i read the book.the movie kind of helped me read the book because it can be a hard read because of its time it was written, but then there are of course parts that weren't in the movie. i loved the book but not at the same time.i loved the story but it was a pain to read.you have to have patience to read it. But i loved the romance and the hint of zombie in the mix ;)

Ever since I watched the movie I have wanted to read the books and I loved it! Perhaps better than the movie, I hope the movie also does another one;)

This book totally makes fun of the the beautiful book Jane Austen wrote it was a beautiful book and then I see someone added zombies to it I thought I was going to cry I'm sorry but I feel the writing of this book was totally disrespectful

I have almost finished the book but here is what I think of it ( I'm a 13 year old boy). I saw the book and said cool a book about zombies but I should have read a little before buying it. The book is mostly about the Bennett girls who go to balls and travel to a bunch of towns and talk about the men how they are good looking and gentlemans and how they are good in the art of zombie slaying. On the trips the girls make they encounter zombie but they don't make a trip like every chapter only like every 5-10 chapters. So I would not recommend this book to guys. I chose this boo for a school project.

The storyline is quite hard to understand when there's is a lot of side conversations going although I haven't finished the book it's, fairly good, what I mostly understand is probably the actual zombie attack scenes haha:)
  • Major waste of time and paper!

I was really excited to read this book, really I was! However the choppy story line mixed with the editing skills of an eight year old killed my enthusiasm within the first five chapters. As I read through the book, the odd "oriental" (Asian) twists kept throwing the story line off in different directions, making this less a classic/thriller and more a convoluted attempt to capitalize on the growing "zombie" trend.
  • A darkly comic classic

This is an amazing book, a darkly comic mash-up of Pride and Prejudice meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A must read!
