I spent a large portion of this book rolling my eyes, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

I absolutely adore this book! It has such wit and pleasantness. The humorous parts (such as Mac’s dancing lesson) had me laughing heartily. It was pleasant how it jumped from more than one perspective and not just Rose’s. Truly a treasure to cherish through the ages. I always come back to this book like an old friend that I deeply admire. I will always keep this dear old book close to my heart. I highly recommend it to any person, young or old, male or female to read this book. (I may be bias because Louisa May Alcott and I are very close and she’s an old friend. But truly a superb read.)

I almost stopped too soon, thinking it was getting boring! It's unrealistic that she would have that much uninterrupted adult conversation with a two-year-old at hand, but I'll forgive that inaccuracy.
