  • Great start of the series

At first the comic started out a bit clichéd with Twilight panicking over a test, but as the comic progressed, the story turned out to be amazing! The way the artist had the silent scenes' story told only through facial expressions was genius, but my only complaint is that a few of the facial expressions were hard to read or could not be identified without a character adding some dialogue after it. Sometimes the facial experessions were out of place to me, but this might just be me. Overall a great start.

It's MLP in a comic book, what's not to like.

  • Story Good, Art Bad

I thought the story was fine but I really didn't like the art in this. The style felt like a real step down from the original 4-part comic.
  • Too short

I am a brony, myself, and I loved the comic, the story was well paced, the ending was a twist, but it didn't come out of nowhere, and my biggest gripe is the art, I'm no artist, but the characters looked somewhat lopsided at times, and I wish they used their own style, like the main series comics, which use the original style as a base, but expand upon it with brilliant hand drawn pages. All in all, great comic, if you can get over the art style and semi-inexpressive characters
