Romeo and Juliet is one of the greatest plays ever written--but let's face it..if you don't understand it, then you are not alone.

With this "TapSpeare" edition, if there's a passage you do not understand, then just tap! A modern version of the passage will pop up.

This book is really good and helpful but on page 129 there is "CLICK TO ADD TEXT” instead of the usual translation.
  • Great way to read Shakespeare

I love this version! You can read the original language but tap on a picture of Shakespeare for the line translated to modern English. It works really well since many of Shakespeare's puns and word play don't translate well so it is great to see the original context but when you are struggling to understand, the modern language helps a lot. It is not like a regular book since there are added buttons for modern translation. Each page is formatted to make it work. So you can't adjust the font size or anything. A bit challenging on my iPad Mini but worth it. And this would definitely not work on the smaller screen of an iPhone or iPod. I just wish they had more titles because I love reading Shakespeare this way!
