Over the Flames This is a fast paced super suspenseful romance. This is my first time reading this author and you can bet it won’t be the last. “Arden” is an investigative reporter. Her friend call her to meet him at a warehouse but what she finds is much more. Special Agent Lawson Mitchell was married to Arden but a tragedy broke them apart. “No problem, Sheriff.” Lawson pushed past her toward the warehouse. “My wife was just leaving.” This story was a second chance that I couldn’t put down. Loved it!! Into the Veins High octane action packed suspense. King County Sheriff Blair Sanders is called to the scene where a dead body has been discovered. Colson Rutherford is a private detective hires to find the dead woman. He wants to insert himself into the investigation. This is a non stop page turner. Interconnected with the first book. I’m really loving this author and this series. This is some seriously good stuff!! Bits and Pieces I can’t say enough good things about this series. It’s so unique and crazy. January is investigating a murder where the killer has removed organs from the victim. Lincoln left her to advance his career and now he’s back to prove he’s still a good agent. As with all these books the killer is bloodthirsty and ruthless. These killers are all connected. I can’t wait to see what happens next. View from Above Mallory Kotite knows her father didn’t commit subside. He was to wrapped up in himself to do that. “I want to be involved in the investigation.” The way she’d said it so matter-of-factly had him wondering if she hadn’t planned this conversation from the very beginning. Payton Nichols is a good detective but he can’t seem to keep a partner. When more people connected to her father start dying in the same manner they start connecting the dots. She’d seen his commitment for justice, his goodness in providing answers to families like hers. She’d seen his compassion in offering to let her stay in his home and in making her breakfast before they started the day. This series is outstanding and just different enough to be called unique. Super intense and suspenseful page turner. This is a fairly new author for me and I’m so glad I gave these books a try. I can’t wait for the next book.
