Great book that probably needs to be read twice - or highlight sections that registered with you throughout the book during your first read and then review those highlights from time to time. This book forced me to look at my relationships in a different light and forced me to look at myself differently as well. My parents were not emotionally immature; quite to the contrary. I read this book to help me more effectively connect with those that were raised by emotionally immature parents. I have a whole new outlook on these relationships after reading this book.
