- Release Date: 2015-05-23
- Genre: Paranormal Romance
She hungers for vengeance....
Sasha is honor bound to kill the wolf shifter who ordered that her family be put to death - but when the mysterious Alpha Kenyon turns the tables and kidnaps her, she finds that her plans are temporarily sidelined. Nothing will stop her from finding final justice for her family, though - not even her disturbingly conflicted feelings for an Alpha who may not be what he seems.
He yearns for his mate...
...even though she wants to kill him, for reasons he hasn't quite figured out yet. Sasha is gorgeous, she's sexy, and she's his - and he may get to claim her yet, if he can just convince the feisty she-wolf to stop trying to murder him long enough to get a word in edgewise.
This short paranormal romance is approximately 8,100 words.
EXCERPT:
You took everything from me and left me an orphan. I will have my vengeance or I will accept death as the only substitute.”
“That doesn't leave me a lot of options, now does it?” He began to unbutton his shirt and tossed it away. She would never be willing. She would never love him the way he had hoped his mate would someday. But no matter. His clan was more important than the misplaced hatred of a young warrior woman. “I had hoped that you would be willing. But it is not necessary.”
“I will kill you if you touch me,” she promised softly.
But he did not slow his step. He was close enough to smell her scent and instantly it branded upon his synapses, and he knew that he would always find her no matter where she went or what happened in their lives. Whether she liked it or not, they were linked by fate — something neither one of them could stop nor change. And the fate of his clan rested on his ability to put a pup in her belly. He quickly untied the knot holding her to the chair and stepped away as she sprang free, snarling and hissing like a wet cat. A slow smile spread across his lips as a wild arc of lust pounded through his veins and centuries of tradition and lineage clicked into play.
“Give it your best shot, sweetness. I like it rough.”
