Blood and sweat. Bethany Lewis danced her way out of poverty. She’s a world class athlete… with a debt to pay.

Joshua North always gets what he wants. And the mercenary wants Bethany in his bed. He wants her beautiful little body bent to his will.

She doesn’t surrender to his kiss.
He doesn’t back down from a challenge.
It’s going to be a sensual fight… to the death.

I’m a huge fan and a true New Orleanian. ( born and raised ) I love all your books , but the replacement of our Street Cars for Trains , and the very idea of putting a fire escape on 1 of our beautiful French Quarter buildings, is sacrilege!!! It’s still a great story , and I still very much enjoyed the book . But when you speak on da NOLA , put some respect on her name !

I’m still floating back to reality from the heavens that this read sent me to. Skye and Amelia created a full production with Audition. In my mind’s eye I could hear the orchestra build and decrescendo with each movement of the characters, each dancing their parts in this beautifully tragic story. They entice you with the grey area, and draw you in with intense desire. You can’t look away from the story that is being put on before your eyes. Joshua North, the jerk you love to hate but can’t get enough of. He’s one of those characters that has been broken down, and put back together with a few missing, important pieces. Those spaces allowing his heart bleed out. He truly is the wolf he claims to be. Bethany Lewis. Another beautiful, broken ballet dancer, giving her all to an audience who demands more. Her vibe is like a flowing watercolor painting, each pigment fading into a new and deep color. Broken home, broken family, and broken body. No matter how many times she is beaten down, she always comes back stronger and more determined. Even when the past is between them, when brought together, both try to fill the holes and cracks of the other, all while trying to find the skeleton that is haunting Bethany’s everyday. Hearts take beatings, and when they finally cave to the need between them, the crescendo you will feel is the blood in your body racing, cause it’s intense and sexy as hell. The production these two incredible authors put on is something that will stick with you for days. I loved this read, and wish I could re-read is anew over many times. You NEED this read!

The first few chapters were very promising but as the story progressed it become very boring. The switching from past to present was very confusing. I had to force myself to finish this book.

This audition between Bethany and Josh is as intense as it gets, and I enjoyed every minute of it! They have a slow burn and when they finally get together it is fireworks! They have a past, and I loved getting to read about that since it informs their current relationship. Josh has built walls because of his childhood, and he thinks that his childhood indicates that he should not love or care about people. He is so wrong! Bethany has been the one thing to bring light into his life, and I delighted in that. She has had to be strong, and I admired that about her along with her dancing and gracefulness. They both have been alone, but what will Josh do when there is a threat to Bethany’s safety? I recommend you read this book and find out! I received a copy of this ebook from Social Butterfly PR for my honest review.
