OMG! Talk about a cliffhanger! Agghhhh! I need more! Holly’s sister London has went dark! Her travel Instagram sister has not posted in two weeks. She is not checking in and not returning calls. Her last message had her on the way to Paris, so Holly hops a plane for Paris. But things do not go smoothly for our friend. Now trapped in the dark not knowing how to escape, Holly fears she will die next to a dead man and never find her sister. Overall this book is action packed from page one. It is full of deception and hot as sin. Every page builds you up till the very end. It leaves readers hanging on to every word. The characters are strong and intriguing. The whole story is wonderful with its unique plot and great world building. A steady paced read full of danger and hot men! I am just going to say, this book was so addicting. I am hooked and mad I have to wait till September for book two. But I am so addicted I will wait patiently for the next installment.....but I won’t be happy about it. Kidding I’m kidding.... If you want an edge of the seat thriller then this book is for you. ButI have to warn you, this is a dark romance. Just know there is some rough scenes, so it is not for thee wea

This book was all consuming!!!! Elijah North, youngest North sibling.... How to describe him, dominant, ironic, awesome, serious moral compass when it comes to.... Holland.... a sweetheart that comes from a family that loves adventure and has a flaky sister... Holland’s sisters goes dark, no communication. Holland goes to find her and chaos ensues. Elijah May or may not be a dark night... Highly recommend

This review is going to be short, because if I write about too much then it will be spoiler filled! Yes, Holly is kidnapped but there is a reason and that’s all I can say. Once I realized who Elijah is, I was shocked then elated! Again, that’s all I can say, but that might even be a spoiler! I just wanted to hug him for certain reasons. He is damaged, powerful and commanding, and I would let him ensnare me like Holly did. Holly is stronger than she realizes, and I totally felt for her. They have a connection which starts in Hidden Gem (the prequel novella), so I suggest you read it. She is the light to his dark, and that always fascinates me. The world building enveloped me, and the twists and turns that happened from beginning to end captivated me. This is definitely Skye Warren at her twisty, intense, dark romance best! I loved it, recommend it and cannot wait for the second book! *I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*
