I really enjoyed this Audio Book the narrater did a good job in bringing the time period to life. Charles Dickens was wonderful at bringing the characters to life with his exquisite descriptions. I had limited knowledge of the brutality that surrounded the French Revolution. Some of the interactions between the wealthy and the common people I found to be oddly common to what has happened with wealth distribution in the United States of today. They say history repeats it's self only time will tell. Maybe this should be required reading to all C.E.O. And people in higher public office. Very recommended for anyone that loves a good story of honor, love, tragedy, revenge, and hope.
